The terms for using this site

These terms apply when you browse or use theteaholic.com, including its contact form. The site is operated by The Teaholic, an independent software studio based in Kandy, Sri Lanka.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the site. Mandatory rights that apply to you under law are not excluded or reduced by these terms.

This site describes the studio, its services, client work, and software products. It also lets you send a project enquiry. Site content is general information, not an offer, quotation, guarantee, or professional advice for your circumstances.

Prices, timelines, scope, and other commitments for client work only become binding when they appear in a written agreement accepted by both sides.

Each client engagement is governed by its own agreement. That agreement may cover scope, fees, payment, intellectual property, confidentiality, warranties, support, and liability. If it conflicts with these terms, the client agreement controls the engagement.

The Teaholic develops and operates software products alongside client work. A product may have separate terms, a privacy notice, pricing, and service rules. Those documents govern your access to and use of that product. These website terms do not create a subscription, licence, service commitment, or right to use a product.

Where a product page sends you to another website, check the terms shown there before creating an account, paying, or submitting information. If product terms conflict with this page, the product terms control your use of that product.

You agree not to:

• Use the site or contact form for anything unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful.
• Send unsolicited commercial messages through the contact form.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its infrastructure, or a connected system.
• Disrupt the site through excessive automated requests, malicious code, or attempts to bypass its security controls.
• Impersonate another person or submit material you have no right to send.

We may restrict or block access when we reasonably believe this section has been breached or when needed to protect the site and its users.

Do not send confidential material through the contact form. Contact us first so we can agree on a suitable channel or sign an NDA where appropriate. Marking an unsolicited message as confidential does not create a confidentiality obligation.

You keep ownership of material you send. You give us permission to receive, store, review, copy, and use it as needed to respond to your enquiry and discuss possible work. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

If you send an idea or suggestion without an agreement, we may already be working on something similar and may continue to do so. Your message does not give you rights in work created independently by us.

The text, design, code, logos, and images on this site belong to The Teaholic or their respective licensors. You may browse, link to, and share links to public pages. You may not copy a substantial part of the site or reuse its branding or content for commercial purposes without written permission.

References to third-party names, products, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Case studies and project descriptions are summaries. We use client names only with permission. Results vary by project, so a result described here is not a promise that another project or product will achieve the same outcome.

Product descriptions, status labels, features, availability, and pricing may change. The current information shown by a product at the point of signup or purchase controls.

Some links lead to products operated by The Teaholic. Those products are covered by their own terms as described above. Other links lead to independent third parties. We do not control or accept responsibility for an independent site's content, security, availability, or privacy practices. A third-party link does not by itself mean that we endorse the site or its operator.

We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every page is complete, current, or error-free. The site is provided as available. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of it.

To the extent the law allows, The Teaholic is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, or lost business arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Liability connected with client work or a software product is governed by the agreement that applies to that work or product.

Sri Lankan law governs these terms and disputes relating to this website. The courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or remedies available to you under another law that applies.
